CORE CURRICULUM REQUIREMENTS
All programs require completion of a Basic Hypnotherapy Training Course, either from VCHA another certified instructional facility (see Basic Hypnotherapy Training Course #101). Core Curriculum requirements for our courses must be completed within three years from registration and before your certification can be issued.
DISCLOSURE
A hypnotherapist is a legal wellness provider and not a licensed medical practitioner. Hypnotherapy is an ethical, alternative, stand-alone wellness profession. At the present time in California, Hypnotherapy is a non-licensed occupation. It is our standard and practice to advise professional hypnotherapists to be certified and registered within the state they practice.

#109 – Self-Esteem & Self-Confidence (3 CEs) Learn how and why people develop a poor self-image and valuable skills to help your client successfully combat them. Certified course program fee is $119. (3 CEs)
#110 – Emotional Control (4 CEs) Learn how to work with anger, grief, jealousy and guilt – the four most common emotions that cause distress. Learn why people feel the way they do and how we, as therapists, can help them. Certified course program fee is $149. (4 CEs)

The Vreeland College of the Healing Arts and the International Hypnosis Federation support standards of excellence and promote public awareness for personal growth, and mind, emotion, body and spirit.
Upon completion of this program and full payment of your enrollment fees, you will become a certified “Clinical Hypnotherapist”. You can then help clients with behavioral, habit and attitudinal control issues, as well as self-improvement.

Upon completion of this program and full payment of your enrollment fees, you will be a certified “Motivational Technologist”, “Life Coach”, “Success Coach,” or “Personal Fitness Trainer”, helping others with personal empowerment, personal development, financial empowerment, motivational and career related issues.

Upon completion of this program and full payment of your enrollment fees, you will be a certified “ALTERNATIVE & COMPLEMENTARY HEALING Practitioner”. This is an excellent program for Naturopaths, Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Ayurvedic Practitioners, Spiritual Healers, Energy Therapists, Pranic Healers, hands-on healers and Reiki Practitioners.
WHICH CERTIFICATION PROGRAM IS RIGHT FOR ME?
Clinical Hypnotherapy, Motivational Coaching, Behavioral Technology and Alternative/Complementary Healing are four specific tracks for you. The following paragraphs explain the differences in these disciplines.
CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY:
This certification is most appropriate for those practitioners whose primary scope of practice includes (but is not necessarily limited to) behavioral, habit and attitudinal control issues, usually of a “self-improvement” nature.
MOTIVATIONAL COACHING:
This certification is most appropriate for those practitioners such as “Life Coach”, “Success Coach”, “Personal Fitness Trainer”, etc. and whose primary scope of practice includes (but is not necessarily limited to) personal empowerment and development, financial empowerment, motivational and career-related issues.
BEHAVIORAL TECHNOLOGY:
This certification is most appropriate for those practitioners who are not necessarily a “Clinical Hypnotherapist” but, nevertheless, employ techniques such as Guided Imagery, Visualization, Relaxation Therapy, etc., in their practice. Their practice may be more related (but not necessarily limited to) emotional and relationship related issues, maladaptive social behaviors and challenges in dealing with life and the world around them. The Behavioral Hypnotherapy courses are a combination of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Motivational Hypnotherapy courses.
ALTERNATIVE & COMPLEMENTARY HEALING:
This certification is most appropriate for those practitioners such as Naturopaths, Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Ayurvedic Practitioners, Spiritual Healers, Energy Therapists, Pranic Healers, Reiki Practitioners, and those whose primary scope of practice is in the area of assisting clients or patients to face the challenges of disease, illness and disorders of a medical or physiological nature.
CERTIFICATION AND DESIGNATIONS:
The healing arts modalities offered by Vreeland College of the Healing Arts courses are recognized, legal, stand-alone certified professions. We are not a licensed healing arts provider. However, many of our students are licensed in other professions and proudly add our alternative modalities to their helping tools.
TUITION FEES AND REFUND POLICY
UPON ENROLLMENT, CLASSES MUST BE PAID IN FULL. ENROLLMENT FEES INCLUDE YOUR CERTIFICATION FEES AND YOUR FIRST YEAR ENROLLMENT IN THE INTERNATIONAL HYPNOSIS FEDERATION.
30 days following the date of enrollment, students may formally request a refund via certified mail. If received within 30 days, your money will be refunded minus a $35 processing fee and the cost of any books or materials received. No refunds will be issued past the 30-day point. If you do not complete your course within three years, you forfeit all fees paid.
